Timothy L. "Tim" Ling

Timothy L. Ling, age 61, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born on April 4, 1955 in Eau Claire to Lavern and Wilma (Marrs) Ling. He married Valeria Cook on October 21, 1973 in New Auburn. Tim worked as a carpenter and a truck driver. He spent as much time as he could doing activities outdoors, including hunting, fishing, camping and even yard work. He also enjoyed working on electronics, fixing things, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents: Lavern and Wilma Ling of Meridian ID, wife: Valeria of Chippewa Falls, sons: Tim (Tammy) Ling of Bloomer and Adam (Sirichan) Ling of Chippewa Falls; brother: Steven Ling of Meridian ID, sisters: Faith (Gary) Dallum of Dallas TX and Joy Ling of Meridian ID; 5 grandchildren: Austin, Alexis, Jesse, Shyann and Cole.

He was preceded in death by brothers: Mark and David Ling; sister: Cecile Ling.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Bloomer Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne North officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the church. Olson Funeral home in Bloomer is assisting the family.
