Theodore Ernest "Ted" Jerome

Theodore E. “Ted” Jerome, age 72, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 6, 2014. He was born January 28, 1942 in Eau Claire to Theodore and Enga (Hammond) Jerome. He married Bernice Guthrie on September 4, 1965 in Chippewa Falls. Ted served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and worked as a mechanic, hauled milk for Perry Fisk and was a school bus driver for 47 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his friends and family, especially his grand and great-grandkids.

He is survived by his wife: Bernice of Cornell; two sons: Ronald (Shelly) Jerome of Sheldon and Darrell (Dawn) Jerome of New Auburn; one daughter: Connie (Tony) Beighley of Cornell; four sisters: Doris Stevens, Mary Krahulec, Beatrice (Byron) Root and Alice (Rodger) Larson; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren,

He was preceded in death by his parents: Theodore and Enga Jerome; two brothers: Robert and George Jerome; two sisters: Edith and Myrtle Jerome.
