Obituary for Thelma M. Curavo

Thelma M. Curavo, age 89, passed away at Wissota Heath and Regional Vent Center in Chippewa Falls WI on Friday, December 16, 2011. She was born December 7, 1922 in Murdo, South Dakota, to Raymond and Florence (Daugherty) Kinsley. Thelma married Charles Curavo on March 25, 1950. She was a factory worker for most of her life and raised four children. In her free time she loved to sew, cook, garden, take care of her house plants, and spend time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Charles Curavo of New Auburn; sons: William Curavo of Lakeview SC & Robert (Jacquelyn) Curavo of Bethel AK; daughters Cheryl (Robin) Mattson of New Auburn & Juanita (Mark) Formon of Leigh High Acres FL; brothers Ralph (Agnes) Kinsley of Winter & Chester (Doreen) Kingsley of Racine; sisters: Virginia Simington of Winter & Bethel Tice of Chippewa Falls, 8 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Leonard, Floyd, Wayne, Raymond, Vernon, & infant Kenneth; sisters: Lillian & Ester.

Funeral services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Bloomer on Thursday December 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.
