Obituary for Terry L. Snow

Terry Lee Snow, age 71, passed away at his home in Bloomer, Wisconsin on February 6, 2013.
He was born in rural northern Phillips County, Kansas on August 21, 1941 the eleventh child of Harry M. and Orah R. (Power) Snow. Terry attended rural grade school and graduated from Agra Kansas High School with the class of 1959. He attended Kansas Wesleyan College in Salina, Kansas for 2 years and then joined the Air Force, serving in several states. After the Air Force he went to Fairbanks, Alaska and worked as an electronic technician for BMEWS for many years. While in Fairbanks he met and married Kim Cha. They were the parents of two daughters Deborah Snow and Michelle Killian. In 1988 he married Doris (Hetchler) Lotts and together they lived in Fairbanks AK , Las Cruses NM and Bloomer WI. Terry was a devoted and caring husband who had a thirst for knowledge and loved helping his friends and family on projects. He was fascinated by bald eagles and in his spare time would travel to observe them. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles and the occasional trip to the casino.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers: Chester, Leonard, Orland Dale, Darrell, Guy and Denny, two sisters: Cleora and Oneita Hejny.

He is survived by his wife: Doris of Bloomer; two daughters: Deborah Snow and Michelle Killian both of Alaska; five stepchildren: Steve (Laurie) Lotts of Colfax, Michael (Shelly) Lotts of Chetek, Barbara Milze of Eau Claire, Debra Lotts of Bloomer, Susan (Chuck) Hakes of Bloomer; two sisters: Darlene Fuller of Cedar KS and Rosalie Seemann of Colby KS; one brother: Kenneth (Carol) Snow of Boise ID; two grand children; nine step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February, 12 2013 at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. Following the service interment and military rites will be at 1:00 PM at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner.
