Tammy J. Ringer (Cutsforth)

Tammy J. Ringer, age 50, passed away at her home on Monday, December 21, 2015 after fighting a long battle with cancer. She was born February 10, 1965 in Bloomer to Allan and Wanda (Ling) Cutsforth. She married Gene Ringer on November 10, 1984 at Island Lake Church of Christ. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Dallas Nursing Home, Lakeside Nursing Home in Chippewa Falls, the Bloomer Hospital and The Maple Wood Nursing Home in Bloomer. She was a certified IV Technician, worked in the Bloomer Hospital Emergency Room, was an EMT for Barron County and most recently was a CNA in the OB department at Luther Hospital. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, fishing and sewing. Her horses were a special part of her life and she spent many hours caring for, training and riding them. Tammy loved spending time with her family and would drop everything to enjoy being with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother: Wanda Cutsforth of New Auburn; her husband: Gene of New Auburn; sons: Casey and Corey, both of New Auburn; brother: Rocky (Lori) Cutsforth of New Auburn; sister: Stephanie Melton of Cameron WI; grandchildren: Jayce, Aiden and Kaylee Ringer; special “Fur Babies”: Shadow and Snickers.

She was preceded in death by her father: Allan; grand-parents: Alvin and Iola Ling, Herbert and Jane Cutsforth.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December30, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Island Lake Church of Christ with Pastor David Willingham officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
