Sylvia Fehr

Sylvia Lorraine Fehr, age 98, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Windmill Manor in Coralville, Iowa. She was born August 30, 1914 in the Town of Auburn to Zera and Bertha (Kelm) Poirier. She married Clifford Fehr on June 16, 1932 in Stillwater, MN. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, WELCA, Bloomer Hospital Special Friends, Triniteam and Bloomer Senior Citizen’s. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by one son: Wayne (Jeanette) Fehr of Eau Claire; one daughter: Carol (Curtis) Nedoba of Coralville, IA; one sister: Berniece Marek of Bloomer; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Clifford; one brother: Mel Poirier; one sisters: Beatrice Cloutier.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer with a visitation one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is in charge of arrangements. The family asks the memorials be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church in Bloomer or a charity of your choice.
