Steven J. Taylor, age 60, cherished brother and dear uncle, passed away peacefully at Regions Hospital in Minnesota on July 8, 2009 surrounded by his family.

He was born April 27, 1949 in Colfax, Wisconsin to the late Jay and Berdella (Breezee) Taylor. He especially believed in wheelchair competitions and sometimes sponsored and donated his equipment and time to such events. Steve shared his interest of toy tractors with his nephew’s and each year he looked forward to setting up tractor/farm displays with them at the annual Colfax Toy Tractor Show.

Steve is survived by one brother: Jeff (Nancy) Taylor, three sisters: Lori (Carl) Sudbrink, Sharon (John) Gallagher and Jean (Larry) Anderson; eleven nieces and nephews: Ross Taylor, Jared Taylor, Phillip Taylor, Michelle (John) Phillips, Jonathon Robinson, Michael Robinson, Paul Gallagher, Kelly (Eric) Langerman, Jerimiah (Robyn) Whitwam, Rebecca Whitwam and Jessica Whitwam; one aunt: Lael Schneider.
