Shirley Zimmer

Shirley Joseph Zimmer, Jr., age 53, passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 at his home in Bloomer. He was born August 16, 1958 in Racine WI to Shirley Joseph & Rose (Schultz) Zimmer Sr. He worked as a registered nurse and EMT in Osseo, WI. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, building models, watching football (especially the Green Bay Packers).

He is survived by one son: Ryan (Sarah) Zimmer of Bloomer; one daughter: Tasha (Mark) McRaniels of Sparta; his mother: Rose Zimmer of LaCrosse; one sister: Teresa Hernandez of LaCrosse; one brother: John Zimmer of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his father: Shirley; two grandchildren: Edwin and Kristie Zimmer.

Memorial services will be held on September 3, 2011 at 4:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a visitation from 3:00 – 4:00 PM.
