Sheila A. Andrews

Sheila A. Andrews, age 82, passed away on June 20, 2026 at Dove Health Care in Bloomer. She was born on February 8, 1944 in Dunn County to Robert and Cecilia (Domke) Roland. She married Wayne Andrews on November 30, 1963 in Ethiopia, where Wayne was stationed. They moved to Washburn, where they resided for 27 years before settling in Menomonie.

Sheila worked as a waitress at Fred’s Root Beer Stand in Menomonie and the A & W and “Oddballs” in Washburn. She also worked as a Daycare Assistant, and a housekeeper. When she wasn’t in the kitchen preparing a delicious meal or cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Twins, Sheila enjoyed playing cards, solitaire and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters: Nadene (Scott) Morrin of Savage, Minnesota and Natalie (Kurt) Gaber of Bloomer. She is also survived by her three grandchildren: Lindsay (Brett) Wilson, Hunter (Fiancée: Rachelle Penners) Gaber, and Andrew Beadle; great-grandchild: Asher Wilson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Wayne; her stepbrothers, Wayne and Philip Close; her half-sister: Alison Sorenson ; parents: Robert and Cecilia; stepfather: Fred Close.

Shelia’s wishes were to have no services, but please keep the family in your thoughts. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family with arrangements.
