Shannah Marie Boiteau

On June 22, 2016, Shannah went missing. After nine long years filled with unanswered questions, tireless searching, and unwavering hope; her family finally received some closure. On April 26, 2025, Shannah was found as an Angel and welcomed into Heaven- her spirit now free and her memory eternal.

Shannah Marie Boiteau was born on June 24, 1993, in Chippewa Falls, WI to Angela Lato and Cletus (Bud) Boiteau. From a young age, Shannah was full of life and laughter. She loved being outside with her sisters, Autumn and Dakota, creating adventures and memories that would shape their forever bond. Her vibrant spirit shone through in every aspect of her life from her love of sports in her younger years to cooking extravagant meals for her family as she aged.

Shannah’s joy deepened with the birth of her daughter, Emiliana Boiteau. Emiliana was the light of her life, her greatest love, and her proudest role- being a mother brought Shannah purpose and boundless love.

To those who knew her, Shannah was fiercely loyal and endlessly loving. Her family meant everything to her. Shannah made it her mission in life to help and educate others from her past experiences. Her sisters would often say that no matter what time of day or what was going on in her own life- Shannah would drop everything to be there. Shannah always showed up.

Shannah will forever be remembered for her radiant smile, her infectious laughter, and the way she would light up any room she walked into. Her soul was untamed, her heart full and her love unforgettable.

Shannah is proceeded in death by her grandparents (Howard and Betty Boiteau), and her Uncle Michael Boiteau.

Shannah’s spirit lives in the hearts of all who loved her; Emiliana, who carries forward her mother’s light, her parents Cletus (Sarah) Boiteau, Angela Lato, her siblings: Autumn (nephew Aiden) and Dakota, Hannah, Megan, Rafael, Angel, Christopher and Willow Boiteau along with her grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer, WI.
