Sandra Marie Derks (Maidment)

Sandra Marie Derks, age 69, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021. She was born February 11, 1952 in Minnesota to Orville and Mary Ann (Harron) Maidment. She worked as a house painter and enjoyed helping people in need.
She is survived by daughter: Kim (Scott Ellingboe) Martin and Marla Johnson; sons: Robert (Amy) Louma and grandchildren: Emerson Luoma, Amber & Mitch Wallace; brother: Martin (Melody) Maidment of New Auburn,
nieces and nephews: Martin (Amy) Maidment, Shawn (Chelsea) Maidment, Melynda (Adam) Smetana, Sarah (Alex) Lane, Matthew (Katelin) Maidment; great nieces & nephews: Laikyn, Kohen, Camden, Collin, & Isaiah Maidment, Nolan, Myles, Adalyn, & Asher Maidment, Easton, Gambel, Olyvia, & Mercydes Smetana, and Lennox Lane.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother: Allen and one grandson: Allen.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 25, 2021at the Island Lake Cemetery in the Town of Big Bend in Rusk County.
