Ryan Calkins

Ryan C. Calkin of Brookfield and formerly of Bloomer, WI, was tragically taken from us too soon while working on Saturday, February 28, 2015, age 33 years. Cherished and loving husband of Stacy (nee Danielson). Beloved son of Charles and Kim Calkins of New Auburn, WI. Adoring brother of Nikki (Mark) Deraitus of Bloomer, WI. Son-in-law of Bruce Danielson and Joyce (Ivan Collins) Danielson of Janesville, WI. Brother-in-law of Kelly (fiancé-Ray) and Brandon (fiancée-Kara) Danielson. Uncle of Carter and Harper Deraitus; Molly and Wyatt Hanus; Brock and Elsie Downing. Grandson of Clyde and Mary Calkins; Bonnie and the late Bueford Bagwell. Also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, other family, close friends, co-workers and his “Little Buddies”, Sammy and Sophie.

Ryan was an employee of Michels Corporation and member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local No. 139. He enjoyed country music and going to concerts, was an avid “bags player” with his Waukesha friends on Wednesday nights and enjoyed all Wisconsin sports teams, especially the Packers.

A Celebration of Ryan’s life will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015, 4:00-7:00 PM at Prasser-Kleczka Funeral Home, South Suburban Chapel, 6080 So. 27th St, Milwaukee, WI 53221, Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.

Also, a Celebration of Ryan’s Life will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015, 1:00-4:00 PM at The Pines Ballroom, 9690 County Highway SS, Bloomer, WI 54724, Memorial Service at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
