Ruth Goller

Ruth A. Goller, age 94, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire. She was born July 17, 1917 in Chippewa County to Albert and Frieda (Moeri) Kressin. She married Paul H. Goller on June 17, 1937 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bloomer. Ruth was a cook at Barthen’s Café in Bloomer for many years. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cornell, St. John’s Ladies Aid and had been very active in the 4-H program. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, playing cards and taking care of her family.

She is survived by one son: Dr. Daniel (Nancy) Goller of Cornell; one daughter: Kathryn (Lloyd Jenneman) Adrian of Cornell; one daughter-in-law: Charlene Goller of Bloomer; eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren .

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Paul; one son: James; two sisters: Alice Rosenbrook and Laura Rosenbrook; one brother: Fred Kressin.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cornell with Rev. Patrick Feldhus officiating. Interment will be in the Cornell Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 on Monday at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and one hour prior to services at the church.
