Rox Ann Nadeau

Rox Ann Nadeau, age 74, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at her home in the town of Bloomer.

Roxie was born on February 25, 1951, in Chippewa Falls, to Reuben and Maxine (Miller) Rosenbrook. During her childhood, Roxie and her sister Rhonda spent many hours with their beloved horses participating in events and bringing home many blue ribbons.

She attended Bloomer High School and went on to college at UW-River Falls obtaining her degree in Elementary Education. On February 5, 1972, Roxie married Robert Z. "Bob" Nadeau in Ellsworth. Bloomer School District hired her in 1974 to teach early education. Over the years, Roxie moved through teaching all grades including the Library Media Center at Bloomer Elementary School. She retired in 2009 after influencing many students over her 35 years. She enjoyed knitting, reading, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Rox Ann is survived by two daughters: Robin (Robert) Forss and Roberta (Pete) Boleng both of Bloomer; six grandchildren: Levi (Kayley) Blomstrom, Blake and Brooke Forss, Amber, Willow and Tyler Boleng; two great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Reuben and Maxine Rosenbrook; husband: Bob Nadeau; sister: Rhonda Williams; and granddaughter: Meckensie Boleng.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bloomer with Rev Robert Otto officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral on Monday at the church. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Immediately following the service a luncheon will be held at the church. In lieu of flowers: donations may be directed toward the Blackhawk Educational Foundation. In honor of Roxie, the family requests you wear Green Bay Packers or Bloomer Blackhawk gear to celebrate her life.
