Obituary for Ronald Dietsche

Ronald H. Dietsche, age 79, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born November 20, 1930 in Sand Creek to Herman & Margaret (Madison) Dietsche. He married Lois Dahl on June 4, 1955. After her death, he married Doris Fehr on July 26, 1974. He farmed in the Sand Creek area all of his life. He was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church in Sand Creek. His passion was farming but in his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing in the church choir, working on machines and cars, woodworking, cheering for the Green Bay Packers and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife: Doris of Sand Creek; four sons: Daniel of Bloomington MN, Paul (Janeen) of Marshfield, Matthew (Courtney) of Superior and Mark (Ami) of Davenport IA; two daughters: Debra (Gus) Avenido of St. Paul & Joan (Dean) Lindau of Medford; one brother: Robert (Carol) Dietsche of Osceola; one sister: Barbara (Pastor Rodney) Stueland of Dilworth MN; sister-in-law: Merline Rufledt of Sand Creek; Aunt & Uncle: Gerald & Anna Madison of Bloomer; eight grandchildren: Michael (Lynn) Lindau, Kyle (Britney Demel) Lindau, Rachel & Aaron Avenido, McKenzie, Alyson & Benjamin Dietsche, Madison Dietsche.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife: Lois; one brother: Roger.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at New Hope Lutheran Church in Sand Creek with Rev. Barb Koch officiating. Interment will be in the Zion Cemetery in Sand Creek. Friends may call from 4:00 �" 7:00 on Sunday at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
