Ronald E. Berg, age 86, passed away peacefully at Bethany Riverside in La Crosse, WI on
December 19, 2021. Ron was born July 15, 1935 in Chippewa Falls to Carl and Hilda (Gravunder) Berg.
He served in the US Army and worked as a truck driver for Drop Forge Company. Ronald was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer and was an avid sports fan and enjoyed fishing in is free time.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents: Carl and Hilda Berg, brothers: Margon “Bud” (Eunice) Berg and Carlton Berg, and sister: Maxine Christopher.
He is survived by his niece: Nancy (Jim) Yohn and nephew: Roger (Ann) Berg and their families.
Graveside services will be held at Bloomer Cemetery with military honors by the Bloomer American Legion/VFW and AMVETS. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at olsonfuneralhomebloomer.com
