Roger R. Rubenzer

Roger R. Rubenzer, age 77, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 31 2017. He was born February 4, 1940 in Bloomer to Richard and Mary (Schwartz) Rubenzer. He married Lois Conrad February 15, 1958 in Bloomer. He worked as a concrete layer, carpenter, maintenance supervisor and in construction. Roger enjoyed a good joke, whether he was ice fishing, hunting or playing cards. Roger always had a story to tell and if you have ever been in his garage you know he loved collecting “treasures”. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his wife: Lois of Bloomer; sons Randy (Anita), Greg (Melanie), Jeff (Leann) Rubenzer all of Bloomer; daughter: Lorre (Curt Arendt); brothers: Rodney (Elaine), Jim (Judy), Charlie (Lorraine) Dan (Catherine ) David (Lori), and Jerry (Lennis) Rubenzer, sisters: Karen Ahlm and Judy (Mark) Dahl 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Richard and Mary Rubenzer, daughter: Dawn Lueck

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a spring burial in the Rufledt Cemetery.
