Robert F. Tealey, age 89. Passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Rutledge Home in Chippewa Falls. He was born February 5, 1927 in the Town of Sampson, Chippewa County WI to Fred and Mary (McCullough) Tealey. He married Juanita Adrian on May 4, 1956 in Pine City MN. Robert served in the US Navy during WWII and worked as a farmer, cattle hauler and livestock broker. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, cutting wood, gardening, working outside, playing cribbage and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita; six children: Steven (Renata) Tealey of Chetek, Pam (Paul) Lanzer of Chetek, Robert (Lorrie) Tealey Jr. of Beaufort SC, Roberta (Steve) Riesterer of Eau Claire, Nancy (Geno) Fidler of Bloomer and William (Sara) Tealey of Bloomer; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law: Earl (Betty) Severson; sister-in-law: Barbara Ertolacci.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Fred and Mary Tealey; sisters: Katherine (Francis) Roch, Jean (Emmitt) Quirk and Margaret Tealey; one brother: Frank (Mary) Tealey; great-grandson: Preston Wright; in-laws: Margaret (Hans) Olson, Beatrice Severson, Gertrude (Milton) Waterhouse, Oscar (Carol) Severson, Charles (Marlene) Adrian, Leonard (Ann) Adrian, Maxine Sarauer, Patricia (Bob) Smutney, Keith Adrian, Darlene Adrian, Lawrence Ertolacci.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church in Bloomer with Military Honors performed by the Bloomer VFW and American Legion. Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday at the Olson Funeral home in Bloomer and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
