Robert Schuster

Robert F. Schuster, age 93, passed away Friday, November 28, 2008 at Luther Midelfort Chippewa Valley Hospital in Bloomer. He was born November 4, 1915 in Cooks Valley to Frank & Emma (Berg) Sieivert Schuster. He married Isabel D. Scott on September 8, 1937 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer. He worked at the Chippewa County Dairy in Bloomer for 38 years and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and visiting with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years: Isabel of Bloomer; one son: Darold (Arlette) Schuster of Bloomer; two grandchildren: Terence (Marylou) Schuster of West Bend WI & Tammy (Jon) Ross of Hartland WI; two great-grandchildren: Matthew & Rachel Ross; step-grand daughter-in-law & husband: Amy (Dean) Berlin of Rock Falls WI; seven step-great-grandchildren: Ellie, Holly, Chelsie, Kaylie, Leslie, Melodie, & Augustine; special friend: Geri Schuster; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: Frank & William Sieivert, Jim, Carl & Harvey Schuster; seven sisters: Elsie Buckli, Carrie Zwiefelhofer, Clara Sieivert, Ida Bejna, Ella Zwiefelhofer, Christine Warren & Adeline Trowbridge; step-grandson: Derek Scheider.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 1, 2008 at 3:00 PM at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer with Rev. Bruce Rimmereid officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:30 PM until the time of service on Monday at the church. There will be no visitation Sunday evening.
