Robert Lambert

Robert J. Lambert, age 77, passed away with his family at his side on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire after a long battle with cancer. He was born in the Town of Cleveland to William and Emma (Oldenberg) Lambert. He married Florence Allen on August 24, 1961 in Bloomer. He had an interesting life working as a school bus driver, milk hauler, over-the-road truck driver, mechanic and City of Bloomer Street Commissioner. After his first retirement, he had his own trucking company. Upon his second retirement, he could be found fixing or reinventing a piece of machinery. When not doing that he enjoyed pulling his travel trailer around the United States.

He is survived by his wife of almost 52 years: Florence; children: Robert Jr., Renee (Steve), Barb (David) and Ed (special friend: Kathy); grandchildren: R.J, Brandi (Mark), Dustin, Jeff, Kayla, Brent (Jackie), Jenny (Dan), Angie (Rusty), Amanda (Kirk); numerous great-grandchildren; brother: Dick (Phoebe), Sisters: Marge and Jean (Dan).

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Bill; one brother-in-law: Ed.
