Robert C. Bergh

Robert C. Bergh, age 71, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 in Hayward due to injuries from a car accident. He was born October 16, 1944 in Eau Claire to Clarence and Aza (Bennett) Bergh. He married Carolyn M. Hammond on January 8, 1966 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. Robert served in the US Marine Corps and was a co-founder of B & B Electric. He was an avid Packer fan, loved his cars (especially the Mustang), enjoyed the “occasional” trip to the casino and was a firearm enthusiast.

He is survived by his spouse: Carolyn of Hayward; sons: Mark (Jill) Bergh of Bloomer and Mike (Wendy) of New Auburn; brothers: Richard (Barb) Bergh of International Falls MN, Ronnie (Rose) of Redwing MN, Romaine (Elizabeth) Bergh of Hayward and Roger Bergh of Orlando FL; sisters: Yvonne (Rodney) Wolff of Prairie Farm WI and Carol (Donnie) Sandberg of Mondovi WI; grandchildren: Mitchell, Isaac, Madilyn and Karsten; numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence and Aza Bergh; one sister: Dolly Scott.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer. Interment with Military Rites at the Bloomer Cemetery following the service with a luncheon to follow at the White Pine Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.
