Rhon Boese

Rhon A. Boese, age 53, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at his home in Sand Creek. He was born September 26, 1957 in Chippewa Falls WI to Clayton & Alice (Mullen) Boese. He served in the US Air Force for four years and spent most of his life working for the US Postal Service. He also worked for Allied Blacktop. Rhon was a meticulous person and, at the same time, a real jokester giving his friends and family a “hard time” whenever he could. His favorite food was mom’s hot pickles. Rhon was a true outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, trapping, gardening and landscaping.

He is survived by his parents; two sons: Adam (Krystal Richardson) Boese of Spencer and Chad Boese of Spencer; two brothers: Lary (Annie) Boese of Bloomer and Daniel “Dobber” (Wendy) Boese of Chetek; two sisters; Julie (Don) Krause of Sand Creek and Laura (Brian) Bleskacek of Bloomer; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.

He was preceded in death by infant brothers: Alan and Roger.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Bloomer with David W. Olson officiating. Military rites will be performed by the Bloomer American Legion and VFW. Friends may call from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Tuesday at the church. There will be no visitation Monday evening.
