Regina C. Rogge (Sykora)

Regina C. Rogge, age 82, died at her home on October 5, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 1, 1932 in Bloomer WI to John and Catherine (Borofka) Sykora. She married Delmar Rogge on Nov. 24, 1949 in Bloomer and together they raised nine children and ran the family farm. Her favorite pastime was sewing and in her free time she enjoyed gardening, cooking, bird watching and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons: Daniel (Lunita), Wayne (Judy), Tim (Brenda), Kevin (Angie), Jim, and Jeff (Shelli); daughters: Linda (Chris) Culver, Diane (Larry) Gotham, and Marilyn (Dick) Crawford; brother: Richard “Dick) Sykora; sisters: Agnes Prochnow, Rosie Quinlan and Theresa Shakal; 27 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Delmer; infant sons: Bertram and David; granddaughters: Kristen and Colleen Rogge; ten brothers and sisters.

A Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 8 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Bloomer. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, October 7, 2014 from 4:00 – 7:00 with a Christian Wake Service at 7:00. Interment will be in the North Catholic Cemetery following the service.
