Obituary for Randy Eugene Loofboro

Randy Eugene Loofboro, age 52 died June 6, 2010 in Bloomer. He was born May 21, 1958 in Chippewa Falls to Rodger & Mayo (Fuss ) Loofboro. He worked as a maintenance technician for American Excelsior. Randy was a friend to everyone. His personality was infectious to all he met. He was a kind and gentle man, loving father, husband and grandfather. Randy loved camping, floating and working in his shop. He had a passion for motorcycles and his latest pride and joy was his 1958 Indian that he restored. Randy could fabricate anything with little money, just visions he had and brought them to life. He left us too early and he will be sadly missed by everyone whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his wife: Tracie (Quarders) Loofboro of New Auburn; Parents: Rodger & Mayo Loofboro of New Auburn; two daughters: Rose Ann Loofboro of New Auburn and Jennifer Loofboro of New Auburn; three grandsons: Anthony, Isaac and Wyatt; one granddaughter: Jaidyn; Siblings: Craig (Becky) Loofboro of Sand Creek, Julie (Tom) Foiles of Jim Falls, Scott (Kim) Loofboro of New Auburn and Laurie (Wayne) Metcalf of New Auburn; 23 nieces and nephews; 25 great-nieces & nephews; numerous other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by one niece: Sarah Sharpley Perry.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 12 at 2:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. Interment of cremains will be in the Twin Lakes Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 – 2:00 on Saturday at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. There will be no visitation Friday evening.
