Ralph W. Roggenbuck Jr, age 59, passed away, on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Mayo Clinic in Bloomer. He was born October 22, 19 56 in Lake Geneva, WI to Ralph Sr. and Elsie (Tressler) Roggenbuck. He married Mary Ellen Goettl on August 16, 1980 in Chippewa Falls. Ralph worked as a Steam Fitter and Welder for Local 434 Plumbers and Steamfitters. Ralph was a gentle man with a passion for hunting and fishing. He felt it was important to promote these sports with the next generation and would encourage people to “take a kid fishing”. He was a member of the Bloomer Rod and Gun Club, Whitetails Unlimited and enjoyed shooting trap at the Pines. Ralph was a master welder, using his talents to create the bell tower for the Bloomer Veteran’s Memorial. Most importantly, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them as well as his numerous friends.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Ellen of Bloomer; his mother: Elsie (Roger) Kranig of Chippewa Falls; children: Angie (Roy) Glodowski of Waumandee WI, Andy (Chassy) Roggenbuck of Bloomer and Allen (Lacey) Roggenbuck of Bloomer; grandchildren: Colton, Cora, Corbin and one on the way; brothers: Randy Roggenbuck of Florida and Roy Roggenbuck of Georgia; numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father: Ralph Walter Roggenbuck, Sr.
A funeral service will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Bloomer on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 7:00 PM with a visitation from 4:00-7:00 at the Church. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family. Memorials preferred
