Obituary for Ralph F. Jarboe

Ralph F. Jarboe, age 83, passed away October 11, 2011 at Wissota Springs Assisted Living in Chippewa Falls, WI. He was born on May 12, 1928 in Edmond Oklahoma to Fermond and Alice (Randolph) Jarboe. He attended Prairie Bell and Deer Creek schools and then graduated from Edmond High School. He attended Central State University before moving to Hobbs New Mexico to work for Phillips Petroleum. He was drafted in to the army and served in Korea with the 38th infantry 2nd division from 1950-1952. He married June Shope in 1952 and had one daughter, Linda. Ralph served in law enforcement for 26 years, retiring from the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Department in 1988. Ralph was extremely proud of his family especially his grandsons. He cherished and loved spending time with them whenever possible.

He is survived by his daughter: Linda (John) Robinson of Bloomer WI, grandsons: John Robinson III and Sean Robinson

He is preceded in death by his parents: Fermond and Alice; wife: June; brother Charles James Jarboe.

There will be a visitation from 9:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond Oklahoma with a graveside service at 11:30 on Tuesday at Gracelawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Northwest Wisconsin Home Care and Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be expressed at olsonfuneralhomebloomer.com
