Phillip S. Jones

Phillip S. Jones, age 74 passed away at his home on Monday, March 12, 2018. He was born on August 31, 1943 in Fulton County IL. to Willard and Paulina (Bair) Jones, He worked as an offset printer for Willamette Paper Company and was a member of the ATV Club. Phil loved the outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting, camping, riding ATV or just taking the pontoon for a spin. He had a great sense of humor and was always teasing people right up to his dying day. He was a Packer fan and enjoyed shaking dice and playing cards. He was also the “statistician and coach” for Emily’s bowling team. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife: Emily of Chippewa Falls; daughter: Misty Jones of Greeley CO, son: Phillip Kailiuli of Roseburg OR and 2 grandchildren

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother: Jerry Jones

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. There will be a visitation from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday before the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the spring.
