Obituary for Petra Klatt

Petra Hilda Maryann Klatt (Mueller)
Heaven gained an amazing angel on March 23, 2016. Petra passed away peacefully at Sacred Heart Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born August 24, 1948 in Berlin, Germany to Willie and Anna (Krause) Mueller. When she was 5 years old she came to America with her parents and brothers Wolfgang and Carl and settled in the Chippewa Valley.
Petra married Milo Klatt on June 27, 1970. They loved each other dearly and spent over 45 years together.
Milo and Petra farmed for most of their years, then Petra worked at St Joseph Hospice and Home Health for 16 years. During her years working in home hospice health, she touched so many lives and did not just care for them but became their friends. She was an amazing soul who touched so many lives in a positive way, you felt blessed to have her in your life.
She enjoyed many things in life but nothing more than her grandchildren. They were the light of her life. She took them on many great adventures and taught them how to live life to the fullest. She also looked forward to her weekly card party, not so much to win but to spend this time with her dear friends laughing and having a great time.
Petra is survived by: her husband: Milo, Daughters: Wendy (Freddy) Mohr, Christine (Lee) Olson of Chippewa Falls and Amy Costello of Trego; grandchildren: Kodie and Cole Bodwin; Kyle and Chaz Ann Olson; Brothers: Carl Mueller of Cadott and Harold “Harvey” (Debbie) Mueller of Bloomer; Sister In-Law: Judy Mueller of Eau Claire and numerous other sisters-in-law, brothers in-law, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Petra is preceded in death by: her parents, Willie and Anna; Brothers: Wolfgang “Pete”, Robert “Bob”, Willie “Bill”; dear friend and sister in-law Kathy Mueller.
The family would like to deeply thank the doctors and nursing staff at Sacred Heart Hospital for the kindness and care they provided our loving wife and mother during her stay. Also a sincere thank you to the staff at Wissota Health and PT for the care and kindness they showed her while she was there.
Heaven shines a little brighter with the arrival of the amazing Petra, you have touched our lives in ways you will never know, rest in peace and know you will never be forgotten. You remain in our hearts forever and always.
