Peter W. Hassemer

Peter W. Hassemer, age 86, passed away on January 13, 2024 in Sun City, Arizona. 

Peter was born on May 7, 1937 in Chippewa Falls to Sylvester and Vernice (Albrecht) Hassemer. He attended Bloomer High School, UW La Crosse, UW Stout and received his PhD at The University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. Peter honorably served his country in the US Army. He was a coach, teacher and principal in the Milwaukee area for many years until retiring to Sun City, Arizona. 

Peter is survived by his wife: Sally Hassemer of Arizona; daughter: Jody (Jerry) of Texas; son: Jeffrey (Kristine) of Colorado; 4 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; and a sister: Deanna Lewis of Bloomer. 

He was preceded in death by his parents: Sylvester and Vernice Hassemer; and brother: Lorne Hassemer.
