Patrick Donald Mulcahy

Patrick D. Mulcahy, age 63, went home to be with the Lord on August 23, 2023 at his home.  He was born November 24, 1959 in Minnesota to Donald and Margaret (Lemke) Mulcahy.  He proudly served in the US Navy from 1978 – 1982 and had a long career in operations and manufacturing management.  Patrick went back to school and got his bachelor’s degree while he was in his 30’s.  He was an intellectual person with a quick wit and great sense of humor.  As a visionary, he loved to investigate new ideas, new hobbies, explore possibilities and was ready for a political or religious debate at any time.  He was a skilled woodworker, a military memorabilia enthusiast and loved playing his favorite music with the volume up.  He was a devout Christian with a patriotic heart.   

He is survived by his daughters:  Megan (Dan Stern) Mulcahy, Madeline (Mohammed Almeala) Mulcahy and Abigail Mulcahy;  son:  Joshua (Kristin) Logan;  brother:  Mike (Peggy) Mulcahy;  sisters:  Carolyn (Charles) Engeldinger and Peggy (Larry Sauber) Clemmer;  grandchildren: Brianna, Jaden, Alissa, Jacen, Jacob and Charlotte.

He was preceded in death by his parents:  Donald and Margaret and one sister:  Kathleen Mulcahy.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  A celebration of life will be held at the Back 40 at 19037 State Hwy 40 in Bloomer on September 8, 2023 at 3:00 PM.  Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family.  Online Condolences may be expressed at olsonfuneralhomebloomer.com
