Obituary for Oliver "Ollie" Hebert

Oliver “Ollie” Hebert, age 79, passed away at his home in Bloomer on Thursday, March 16, 2017. He was born to Oliver and Anna (Kapp) Hebert on January 8, 1938 in Bloomer. Ollie married Judith Seidlitz on August 4, 1961 and together they raised three daughters. He served in the US Army and worked as a union carpenter. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughters: Dawn (Jon) Gunderson of Greenwood IN, Michelle (Ben) Feldman of Buffalo MN and Kari (Dan) Bliek of Cedar Rapids IA; sister: Florence Rubenzer of Eagleton, 6 grandchildren: Laura & Anna Gunderson, Emilee & Allee Feldman and Emma & Cole McGregor; numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Oliver and Anna; wife: Judith; brothers: Wilfred “Piff”, Norman “Filio”, Truman “Mud” and Harry in infancy; sisters: Lucille Thompson, Bernice Fanetti, Laura Prince, Irma Franz and Angie Fanetti.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 11:30 AM at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Bloomer. There will be a visitation on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer from 4:00-7:00 PM with a Christian Wake Service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be in the North Catholic Cemetery.
