Norman E. Rufledt, age 78, passed away on May 3, 2019 at Dove Healthcare in Bloomer. He was born on November 15, 1940 in Chippewa Falls WI to Edward and Florence (Raatz) Rufledt. He married Marilyn Burgess on July 2, 1960 in Eagleton WI. After her death in 1987, he married Merline (Lee) Dietsche on June 5, 1988 in Chetek. Norm worked as a dryer operator for the Jim Falls Dairy and enjoyed fishing, bow hunting, turkey hunting, going on road trips, watching the Packers and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife: Merline of Sand Creek; sons: Edward of Bloomer, Bryon (Jackie) of Bloomer, Kevin (Brenda) of Bloomer and Kyle (Michelle) of Bloomer; daughters: Melody (Steve) Park of New Auburn and Jolene (Rick) Wester of Centuria WI; brother: Norbert Rufledt of Bloomer; sisters: Rhodora Robey of Bloomer and Goldene Frank of Bloomer; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Florence Rufledt; first wife: Marilyn; daughter: Roxanne; sisters: Evelyn Toufar and Florence Yakesh.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer. Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be in the Rufledt Cemetery.
