Norah M. Coaty (Weber)

Norah M. Coaty, age 97, passed away at her home on June 30, 2014. She was born on July 6, 1916 in Storm Lake, Iowa, to Heinrich and Alma (Boettcher) Weber. She married Floyd Coaty on November 12, 1975. She worked as a teacher, beautician and a farm wife. She loved all animals and gardening. She enjoyed canning and her pickles were a highlight at any family gathering.

She is survived by her sister: Rozella Weber of California; nieces and nephews: Laura Weber, Lyndell, Jerrine and Corliss Hoefener, Marcia Weber, Randy and Robin Davis, Steve and Mark Sawyer and Gary White; canine companion: Apollo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Floyd; brothers: Leo and Emil Weber; sisters: Leone Davis, Lorine Sawyer, Marie Hoefener and Rose Weber; niece: Sandy White.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
