Nick R. Burgess

Nicholas R. Burgess, age 45, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025. He was born on November 15, 1979, in Chippewa Falls, the son of Terri Burgess. Nick took a lot of pride in his job as a directional driller and truly loved being on the pipeline. He enjoyed ice fishing, snowmobiling, and spending time with his dogs and children.

 He is survived by his dogs: Gypsy and Bohdi; mother: Terri Burgess; children: Brooklyn Magana and Colby Pavlik; grandchildren: Mage and Arthur Magana; significant other: Danialle Mittlesteadt; bonus children: Victoria, Savannah, Madyson, Abygail and Hailey; brothers: Adam (Nik Bauer) Burgess and Jeremy Nelson; sister: Chrissy (George) LaBrie; nieces: Cameryn and Mackenzie; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

 He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Ray and Judy Burgess.

 A celebration of Nick’s life will be held from 11:00 - 2:00 PM, on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at the Bloomer Moose Lodge. Olson Funeral Home and Cremation Center is assisting the family.
