Naomi Kiesz

Naomi J. Kiesz, age 93, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls. She was born June 3, 1920 in New Auburn WI to Philip and Alice (Loofboro) Ling. She married Irvin Knoll on March 4, 1943 in New Auburn. After his death, she married Samuel Kiesz in 1972 in New Auburn. Naomi worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Bloomer Hospital for many years. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano, sewing, crocheting baking cookies for the grandchildren and never missed sending a birthday card to her many family members.

She is survived by two sons: Kenneth(Mary Jean) Knoll of Eugene OR and Paul (Valeta) Knoll of New Auburn WI; one daughter: Carol (Henry) Joles of Chippewa Falls WI; one brother: Lavern (Wilma) Ling of Meridian ID; two sisters: Melba Cushing of Oxford FL and Clareta Boese of Durand MI; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren;

She was preceded in death by her parents: Philip and Alice Ling; her husbands: Irvin and Samuel; one sons: Jessie Knoll; one daughter: Violet Anklam; one brother: Erwin Ling and one sister: Jeanette Hendershott.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 5:00 PM at the Bloomer Baptist Church. Interment is in the New Auburn Cemetery
