Moose (Kevin) Triebs, 58, of Bloomer and formerly of Elroy, WI passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, surrounded by his loving family, after a short hard fought battle with brain cancer.
Moose was born on May 26, 1964, in Elroy, to Donald and Jeanice (Brueggeman) Triebs. After graduating High School, Moose started his working career at Midwest Silo Builders, where he built silos. From there he went to Jim Falls Dairy, making cheese and powdered cheese. He moved on to ITW Deltar as a supervisor. Then he worked a short time for PMI before he started at Charter Next Generation in Bloomer as a material handler.
Moose loved fishing, especially ice fishing - from as early as he could get on the ice, till as late as the ice was good. He also loved deer hunting, playing bags (cornhole), cribbage, most card games, and socializing with friends and family. He was a good friend and loved by many far and wide. Moose was a jokester and a prankster. He loved nothing better than to pull one over on a person. But most of all he worked hard, played hard, and loved deeply. He was always willing to help a friend or loved one when asked. Moose’s final gift to help others was becoming an eye donor.
Moose is survived by his loving wife, Debbie (Loew) Triebs; sons: Josh (Mary Rugg) Triebs of LaCrosse, Cody Triebs of New Auburn, Tyler (Rochelle Jones) Triebs of Chetek and Michael Seibel of Bloomer; daughters: McKenzie (Cody Sippy) Triebs of Altoona and Maria Cohoon of Bloomer; his cherished grandchildren, Grayson, Joselyn, Brealynn, Harper, Emersyn, Parker, Kaelynn, and Keegan; father, Don Triebs of Elroy, sisters, Kathy (Pete) Retzlaff of Elroy and Tina (Jon) Juliot of Eau Claire; mother-in-law, Sandra Loew of Bloomer; and many loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanice (Brueggeman) Triebs of Elroy; and father-in-law, Larry Loew of Bloomer.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be mailed to: Olson Funeral Home, 1516 Larson St. Bloomer, WI 54724 and will be forwarded on to the family. Online condolences may be expressed at olsonfuneralhomebloomer.com
