Mildred Crogg

Mildred L. Crogg, Age 86, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2011 in Eau Claire. She was born on January 31, 1925 to James and Amanda (Callum) Peterson in Bloomer, WI. She married Herbert Dressel in 1945. After Herbert passed away she married Vernon Crogg in 1971. She spent her life raising her children and taking care of her family. She was known for her creative cooking, crocheting and knitting. She enjoyed doing puzzles, fishing and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son: David (Dianne) Dressel of Chippewa Falls; daughter: Diane Dressel of Eau Claire; brother: James (Bonnie) Peterson of Colfax Sisters: Idena Wood of Colorado and Evelyn Lee of Eau Claire; granddaughter: Traci Curtis; great-grandchildren: Stefanie and Joslyn Curtis; great-great-grandchildren Chareti and Carter Curtis.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son Daniel Dressel; infant daughter Linda Dressel; stepdaughter: Jeanette Bishop; stepson Delmar Crogg; brothers Harold and Stanley “Bud”; sisters: Vi and Clara; great-great-grandson: Anthony.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 20, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. There will be a visitation from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home before the service on Monday. Burial will be in the North Catholic Cemetery following the service.
