Obituary for Meagan C. Robey

Meagan Claire Robey-Neuenschwander, age 24, was born on April 18, 1986 and was taken very suddenly to become an angel on October 5, 2010.
Maggie, “Meg”, “Megger”, “May-May” is so very much missed. We had always called ourselves “The Three Musketeers”…that meaning Meg, her brother, Rog and me, “Momma”. Meg, Rog and I could write all day…some things to share with others and some things to keep between the three of us. Even though she may not be here with us, we will always remain “The Three Musketeers”.
Maggie loved so many, so much. She was talented at everything she had ever done, from playing tennis and soccer to playing the cello, flute and clarinet. However, her real passion was dancing…ballet, tap and jazz. She was so excited when Justo “Very Famous Dancer” had personally selected her to be one of his back-up dancers, which she did for 12 months. She also modeled for Ford and Ellite Modeling Agencies, all of which made us very proud. Megger was such an amazing and beautiful singer. She really loved singing duets with her father, Jeff Robey and her brother, Roger Robey.
Meagan had been looking forward to attending the University of Nevada in Las Vegas and getting her degree in Hotel/Casino Management. She was very determined when she wanted to learn something and I’m sure she would have succeeded in this new challenge!!!
She is survived by her parents: Lanae Powers of Henderson NV and Jeff Robey of New Auburn; brother: Roger (Angelica) Robey of Henderson NV; nephew: Colton Anthony Robey of Henderson NV, paternal grandparents: Mac (Rhea) Robey of New Auburn; numerous aunts and uncles, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Roger & Caroline Neuenschwander; paternal grandmother: Lucille Robey; close friend: Daniel “Danny Boy”.
She is so badly missed and we will always be so blessed just to have the wonderful memories we have. Meg, as you are now our angel, you will always be in everything we do! That we promise you!
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and warmest appreciation to David, Benjamin and Karin Olson for making our Meg’s Celebration of Life such a beautiful and highly inspirational day. We will forever be grateful to Aunt Kari & Uncle Kenny Butterfield, the staff at the Roadhouse and everyone who showed their support for us during this very tragic time in our lives. We, Lanae Robey-Powers and Roger Colton Robey, thank you all so very much.
Maggie’s Quote: “Compromise to learn and love with no reservations. Commit your sacrifices and turn them into patience, with inspired care and unconditional love.”
