Obituary for Marvin Klatt

Marvin L. Klatt, age 60, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Luther Midelfort Chippewa Valley Hospital in Bloomer. He was born October 29, 1949 in Twin Brooks SD to Walter and Hildegard (Frentz) Klatt. He married Mavis Goettl on June 16, 1982 in Chippewa Falls WI. Marvin lived with is wife in the Bloomer/Cornell area most of his life where they raised their children and farmed. He loved hunting, fishing and being with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife: Mavis of Bloomer; two daughters: Gina Marie (Nora) Ackley and Ammi Mellissa Leroy; three sons: Randy Earl Klatt, Brad Allen Klatt and Matthew Allen Klatt; four brothers: Fred (Marcella), Marlowe, Milo (Petra) & Julius “Jay” Klatt; four sisters: Twilia Hartung, Lila Bischel, Illa “June” Evans and Stena (Todd Wilson) Susajlo; grandchildren: Shane Harshman, Ashley Curtis, Heather Curtis, Zachary Weetz, Devien Carrion, Tyler Carrion, Jimmy Leroy, Isabelle Klatt, Aleister Klatt, Gabrielle Klatt, Xavier Klatt, Angel Klatt, Alex Klatt, Alexandria Geissler, Jakob Klatt; great-grandson: Calib Ottman; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Robert and Ken Klatt; Brothers-in-law: Carl Hartung, Vernon Bischel, Duane Evans, Bob Goettl and Joe Susajlo; two sisters-in-law: Vesta & Hilda Klatt.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church in Bloomer with David W. Olson officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
