Marlene M. Windsor, age 90, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Milestone Senior Living in Eau Claire, WI.
Marlene was born on February 10, 1936, in the town of Cooks Valley, to Frederick and Margaret (Wirth) Rihn. She worked as a cook at the Bloomer School District and did custodial cleaning at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer.
Marlene married Arnold Windsor on July 26, 1958, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer. She enjoyed gardening flowers and vegetables, cooking, baking, word puzzles and attending Bible study.
Marlene is survived by her daughters: Debra Windsor of Rosemont, MN and Sandy (Rodney) Schmidt Jr. of Eau Claire, WI; 2 granddaughters, Gracie Kressin and Sammi Windsor; 1 step-granddaughter: Samantha (Kade Nelson) Schmidt; and 2 step great-grandchildren: Grayson and Shawn; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Arnold Windsor in 2024; brothers: Herman, Louis, Wally and Richard Rihn; and sister: Marie Tozer.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM on Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Bloomer Cemetery. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family with arrangements.
