Mark R ""Sparky"" Durch

Mark Richard Durch “Sparky”, age 59, passed away at his home in Bloomer on Sunday, July 7, 2019. He was born July 3, 1960 in Bloomer to Robert and Dorothy Jean (Lambert) Durch. He married Rhonda Pierce on February 15, 2002 in Las Vegas. Mark was employed at AJ Manufacturing in Bloomer for the past 25 years as a maintenance man. Mark was a true Packer and Brewer fan. When he wasn’t watching them, he would be outside tinkering around with things, gardening, watching the birds and caring for his chickens. He also loved to spend time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife: Rhonda of Bloomer; mother and step-father: Dan and Jean Blythe of California; daughters: Lisa and Megan Durch, both of Bloomer; son: Adam Burgess of Chetek; step-children: Jeremy (Amanda) Zwiefelhofer and Janell (Tony) Zaborowski all of Bloomer; siblings: Debra (Mike) Perry of Arizona. Dennis (Linda) Durch of California, Larry (Amy) Durch of Arizona, Scott “Skelly” (Dolly) Durch, Chuck (Lana) Durch, Steven Durch, Daniel (Pam) Durch all of Bloomer; grandchildren: Ashley, Austin, Dante, Dakota, Autumn, Landon; step-grandchildren: Delaney and Dyllon; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father: Robert; brother: Bobby; step-son: Travis Bleskacek.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 7:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a visitation one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
