Marion Lodgaard

Marion M. Lodgaard, age 81, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at her home. She was born July 26, 1928 in Chippewa County to Frank & Ida (Luethi) Riley. She married William Lodgaard on September 3, 1948 in the Town of Sampson. She and her husband farmed in the Town of Sampson for many years. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, baking, quilting, sewing, working around the farm, spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by three daughters: Maxine (Frank) Glomski of Millilani HI, Judy Whitsitt of Weyerhauser and Nancy Vetterkind of New Auburn; Daughter-In-Law; Eldora (Dick) Turk of Wausaw, WI, one sister: Loretta Pingle of New Auburn; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; special friends and caregivers: Shelly Schulner, Nona Armstrong, Frances Sayles, Janet Homme, Linda Olmig & Joy Bischel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: William; one son: Wayne; Grandson: Robert; four siblings: Clara Robey, Iva Summers, Aaron Riley & Irvin Riley.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with Chaplain Anne Marie Swanson officiating. Interment will be at the Island Lake Cemetery in the Town of Big Bend. Friends may call from 11:00 �" 1:00 at the Olson Funeral Home.
