Marilyn Somsen

Marilyn A. Somsen, née Dallman, age 94, formerly of Bloomer, passed away on December 24, 2025, in the City of Lookout Mountain, GA. She was born in Bloomer on June 9, 1931, to J. Frank and Clara Dallman. Marilyn married Roger A. Somsen at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa in 1956. 

She obtained both an RN and BSN and was proud of being a Nurse. Marilyn was of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed traveling, boating and reading. 

She is survived by her son Jon Somsen, daughter-in-law Karen Somsen, sister: Phyllis Dallman, and sister-in-law: Celeste Dallman, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Roger, also formerly of Bloomer, father J. Frank Dallman of Bloomer, mother Clara Gehring of Bloomer, brothers Robert Dallman of Bloomer and Jon Dallman of Duluth, MN.
