Obituary for Margaret B, Wiltrout (Broeker)

Margaret (Broeker) Wiltrout, the oldest daughter of Howard and Selma (Hustaker) Broeker was born on October 28, 1926 in Bloomer and died November 1, 2017 at the Memory House in Chippewa Falls. She married Charles Wiltrout on October 28, 1944 in Bloomer. She worked as the head cook for Chi-Hi for over 20 years. During her life Margaret was very active in the community, often having leadership roles in the Amaranth, Eastern Star, Sons of Norway, 4H and PEO. She was a long time member of Central Lutheran Church. She loved her family, cooking, baking, socializing with friends and was proud of her Norwegian heritage.

She is survived by two sons: David Wiltrout of Hayward & Larry Wiltrout of Chippewa Falls; one daughter: Connie Boudoin of Texas City, TX; sister: Norma (Broeker) Odell of Thousand Oaks CA; brother: Wayne Broeker of Greendale WI; many grand & great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Selma Broeker; her husband of 63 years, Charles.

Services for Margaret will be held at Central Lutheran Church 28 East Columbia St., Chippewa Falls on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 with the service at 11:00 AM and lunch to follow with interment in the family plot in Bloomer after the lunch. Any memorials should be given to Central Lutheran Church. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family.
