Margaret Virginia Semingson (Mohr)

Margaret V. (Mohr) Semingson, age 84, passed away at her home on Monday, April 15, 2019. She was born July 7, 1934 in Bloomer to Lawrence and Irna (McElroy) Mohr. She worked as a nurse’s aide with the US Navy and in food service for Luther Hospital. She also enjoyed being a crossing guard for the Eau Claire Police Department. She loved animals, riding horses, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

She is survived by her children: Alan (Cecilia) Rihn, Brad Rihn, Julie (Wade) Hamm and Todd (Flordeliza) Hazelton; brother: Richard (Arlene) Mohr; sister: Jeanette (Richard) McElroy; grandchildren: Billy Oldenburg, Odessa V. Hazelton, Danielle Rihn and numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Rosabel Rihn.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Lawrence and Irna Mohr; sons: David Rihn and Joe Oldenburg; brothers: Arthur and Raymond in infancy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a visitation from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial of ashes will be in the Bloomer Cemetery.
