Mabel Gravunder

Mabel Gravunder passed away on Wednesday October 10, 2018 at the Atrium in Bloomer. She was born on August, 31, 1924 to Henry and Clara (Albrecht) Bathke. Mabel married Marlin “Mike” Gravunder November 16, 1946 in Pine City, Minnesota. Mabel was a loving and caring mother and family always came first with her. She loved to read, do counted cross stitch and spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters: Carole (Mick) Givens of Sarona, WI, Barbara
(David) Ihme of Minnetonka MN; three grandsons: Justin (Bridget), Leighton (Taylor McGowan), Trent Givens; four great-grandchildren: Chantel, Caelan, Garrett Michael and Levi; two step-grandsons, two step-great-granddaughters, numerous nieces, nephews, many extended family members, relatives, and friends.

She is proceeded in death by her parents: Henry and Clara; husband:Mike; step mother Jessie (Polanski) Bathke; sister: Jeanette (Doug) Gullickson; brother: Julius (Doris) Bathke.

Funeral services will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Pastor James Strand officiating. A visitation will be held two hours prior to service at the church on Wednesday. Interment will be in the Bloomer cemetery following the service. Olson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
