Luella Kolmer

Luella Kolmer, age 93, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Fairview Hospital in Burnsville MN. She was born April 28, 1915 in New Auburn to Nels & Julia (Jorgenson) Christenson. She married John Kolmer on July 7, 1956 in Stillwater, Minnesota. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed working with the church ladies, meeting with the Golden Girls, cooking, watching birds, raising chickens and spending time with her dogs and her family.

She is survived by one son: William “Bill” (Sun-Ae) Kolmer of Savage MN
two grandchildren: Jonna & Nicole Kolmer; one step-granddaughter: Jessica Bisping.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: John; one son: John, Jr. in infancy; three brothers: Henry, Peter & Johnny; one infant sister.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Lutheran Church in New Auburn with Pastor Richard Noeldner officiating. Interment will be in the New Auburn Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 �" 8:00 PM on Sunday at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday
