Obituary for Lucille L. Lueck (Hoefert)

Lucille L. Lueck, age 90, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2015 at her home in Bloomer. She was born June 2, 1924 in New Auburn to Louis and Mabel (Skaw) Hoefert. She married Vernon Peterson in March of 1942 in Bloomer. After his death she married Joseph Amort and, following his death, Harold Lueck on December 27, 1985 in Bloomer. She worked as a cook at the Bloomer High School for over 30 years and, after her retirement, she cooked at Luther Camp for several years. She had a lovely rose garden and enjoyed gardening, quilting, delivering Meals on Wheels, volunteering in the church kitchen and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by sons: Jan (Kathleen) Peterson of Tony WI, Ronnie Peterson of Minneapolis MN, Jonnie (Bing) Peterson of Bloomer, Mark (Mary Beth) Peterson of Amery; daughter: Virginia (David) Dudeck of Solon Springs WI; half-sister: Kathleen (Terry) Bitney of Mount Dora FL; 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands: Vernon Peterson, Joseph Amort and Harold Lueck; one son: Michael Peterson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer. Interment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church on Monday.
