Bloomer Lorraine, E. Rufledt, age 100, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Dove Healthcare in Bloomer. She was born January 6, 1916 in the Town of Bloomer to Albert and Pauline (Bansmer) Conrad. She married Albert Rufledt on June 14, 1941 at Eagleton Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker and worked making Christmas Wreaths at Hyder’s in Keystone. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Eagleton, Bloomer Senior Citizen’s Club, and Keystone Homemaker’s Club. She enjoyed quilting, playing cards, gardening and visiting with family and friends.
She is survived by one sister-in-law: Dorothy Conrad of Bloomer; numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Pauline Conrad; her husband in 1981: Albert; brothers: John, Paul, Leonard, Albert, Jessie, Harry, George and Leslie Conrad; sisters: Margaret Conrad, Ida Oldenberg, Clara Peterson, Rose Conrad and Lillian Groeneveld.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eagleton. There will be a visitation from 9:30 AM until the time of service on Friday at the church.
