Lorraine Kitch

Lorraine C. Kitch, age 83, passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 at Hetzel Care Center in Bloomer. She was born May 13, 1927 in St. Paul to Hillman & Mary (Miller) Ness. She married David Kitch on August 18, 1950 in Ripon WI. Lorraine worked as a teacher’s aide in the Bloomer School District for many years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Bloomer and enjoyed reading and traveling.



She is survived by one son: Kraig (Suzee) Kitch of Minneapolis MN; one brother: Harlan (Rosemary) Ness of Eau Claire; four grandchildren: Christopher and Joel Kitch, Kathrine and Sonya Emerick; one great-grandson: Luca Coldwater.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: David; one son: James.



A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the First Congregational Church in Bloomer. Interment of Cremains will be at the Scandinavian Cemetery. There will be no visitation Tuesday evening, however, lunch and a time of fellowship will follow the service on Wednesday. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the American Cancer Society.
